This is the first time this wonderful note is available to the collecting public. - It previously resided with a gentleman in South America who acquired the note at face value in the 1960s. - We actually saw the note for the first time in 2005 when the (then) owner flew into Miami where we made an offer. We walked away empty handed back then but are very proud to have the note now. When we saw the note 6 years ago it was not certified and we logged it into our database as EF. Since then it has been authenticated and graded by PMG who has assigned the conservative grade of VF 35. Regardless, this is a rare opportunity to buy one of these notes, it being by far the highest serial number recorded on this District. Per our census, there are 13 Boston 10K notes known.
